The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 29 – Nikki Spins Out of Control, Fires Audra – Jack’s Fix-It

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 29, reveals that Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) fears about oversharing will be proven right. Y&R fans know Audra expressed concern to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about spilling too much personal info to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Audra opened up to Nikki about her father’s alcoholism, which taught her how to recognize the warning signs. That eventually left Audra worried that Nikki would feel monitored and try to shut her out.

Unfortunately, it looks like Audra’s fears were spot-on since Nikki’s about to make a drastic decision.

After Nikki wishes she’d never confided in Audra about her drinking problem, it appears she’ll fire Audra on Monday’s Y&R episode.

Audra may protest that she just wants to be supportive and has no intention of overstepping, but the damage may already be done as far as Nikki’s concerned.

Nikki may argue that she already has to deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) watching her every move at home, so the last thing she needs is Audra babysitting her at work, too.

Since Nikki won’t want to live under Audra’s microscope, she’ll apparently fly into a rage and give her the boot.

Although Audra will try to reframe the narrative and make it seem like she quit later, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have a hunch that she got fired!

At some point during the week of January 29-February 2, Audra will have to regroup and could perhaps plan to dupe Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) into thinking she’s on his side again.

It’s going to be impossible for Audra to go after Glacade from the outside, so her ticket to a takeover may be accepting a job on the inside instead.

Audra might make it seem like she changed her mind and resigned so she could start fresh at Tucker’s company.

In the meantime, Nikki will be tempted to drink again since she’ll feel like she’s losing control of her life.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will blame herself for that and will be on the verge of tears as she opens up to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Thankfully, Jack will come right when Nikki calls and will have a fix-it strategy for her.

That could involve an AA meeting for starters, but Jack might also suggest that Nikki can undo her firing decision if she wants to bring Audra back on board.

Nikki might apologize once she’s cooled off and try to rehire Audra, but will Audra decide she’s done with all the Newman drama?

Since Audra wants to put her entire focus on targeting Glacade, she may stick to leaving Newman Media in the rearview mirror.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Audra will have to make some updates to her tactics along the way, so stick with us for more news on her next career moves.
